Southwest Florida's premier master planned community The Lely Community Development District was established in 1990 to provide for the financing and operations of one of Southwest Florida’s largest master planned communities. With 1,500 acres and over 9,000 approved residential units, Lely Resort is a former Community of the Year. Community Development Districts are a subdivision of State government and are created by the Board of County Commissioners. The District is overseen by a 5 member Board of Directors who are elected public officials.

Lely Community Development District: Supervisor Vacancy Applicant Deadline Extension

Tuesday December 26, 2023
The Board of Supervisor’s of the Lely Community Development District (LCDD) has extended the deadline for applicants until January 5, 2024 at 3:00pm.

The District is a special purpose government established under Chapter 190 of The Florida Statutes. Applicants should be a qualified elector who reside in the (LCDD) District. The current term expires in November of 2024.
